Mining the Mother Lode, Key supports and self-reliance in challenging times. This presentation will examine a range of constructive responses to demanding challenges and will explore ways in which to apply pragmatic psychological knowledge to the resolution of work-related issues and personal distress.

Paul O’Donoghue is a clinical psychologist and head of the department of psychology in the CRC. His main areas of interest are physical disability and organisational coaching. He is administrator of the CRC Scientific and Research Trust and is chair of the Scientific Affairs Board of the Psychological Society of Ireland. He is also a founder member of the Irish Skeptics Society, an organisation dedicated to the public promotion of science and critical thinking.
