About the Symposium

The Central Remedial Clinic held the first European Seating Symposium in Dublin, Ireland. With delegates and speakers attending from all over the world it proved to be a big success. This unique Symposium addressed diverse issues for people with physical disabilities and those working in the area, including seating and postural management and how these can influence and enhance independence and well-being. This was a forum for professionals and users to come together to share their knowledge and expertise. The main conference themes addressed policies across Europe, Service Delivery, Research, Product Development and Clinical Issues.
