March 2011: Abstract submissions close

European Seating Symposium 19th - 22nd September 2011, The Convention Centre, Dublin

The call for abstracts for ESS 2011 is now available online www.seating.ie/abstractsubmissions

Abstracts are being accepted under the following themes:

• Seating and positioning
• Mobility
• Service development
• Team approach
• Assistive technology and integration
• Education and training
• User needs
• Evidence based practice
• Medical advances

The audience will consist mainly of

• occupational therapists
• physiotherapists
• clinical engineers
• manufacturers
• medical practitioners
• researchers
• nurses
• speech and language therapists
• orthotists
• users

All are welcome to submit abstracts.

Presentation Format

250 word abstracts are invited in the following categories:

Paper Presentations – 15 minutes or 30 minutes presentations

Workshop Presentations – 45, 60, or 120 minute interactive presentations, and teaching sessions with an opportunity for audience participation

Poster Presentation – a poster area will be available throughout the symposium, and an allotted time will be scheduled for detailed poster presentations.

Submissions

Submissions are required in electronic format using our online submission system www.seating.ie/abstractsubmissions

Please note – if your proposal is accepted you must register to attend as a delegate, and present at your allotted time, and date scheduled. A special speaker rate will be available for those accepted to present.

Once your abstract is accepted, the committee will contact you for a full paper submission and presentation requirements.
