A pathological seating system in a child with CP, neglected on rehabilitation field may cause in the long term irremediable orthopaedic injuries, with repercussions on function and quality of life. The right evaluation of different pathological factors that interfere with the ability to stay in a functionally seating posture will allow us to part plan rehabilitation project, and to project a custom seating system considering its potentiality and deficit.

The benefit in use custom seating system is corroborated:
• Anatomical level, prevention for the hip
• Heuristically , to play, to study, to eat, etc, (images different seat 1-2-3-4)

To make a custom seating system we use:
• A special digital camera, that casts white light on the child, fitted in prone position for less than a minute. (video 1)
• A CAD CAM software to arrange the model resulting from the photos. With this software we could change asymmetry, abduction or addution, tilting etc. (video 2, video 3 )
• A CNC machine working on 5 axes totally automatic. We could dig the surface directly on a foam cube or dig a positive model to make a plastic custom seating system. (video 4)

Afterwards we could show all the working area in a orthopaedic work-shop till the trial day.
