This workshop will delve into the area of falls in the elderly and what can be done to prevent these falls from happening. During the session we will review what tends to go wrong, and what environmental as well as equipment requirements will assist in preventing falls from happening. We will look not only at falls in the active well elderly population, but also those occurring from wheelchairs which can then lead to restraint application.
