Establishing a Training and Development Portfolio in the CRC Seating and Mobility Department

The CRC Seating and Mobility Department was established in 1986. The Department provides assessment, intervention and procurement of postural support and mobility bases for children and adults with physical and multiple disabilities. Clients attending the department have diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis amongst other neurological conditions.  Staff working in the department includes

  • Occupational therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Clinical and rehabilitation engineers
  • Technology advisor
  • Seating technicians
  • Administration staff
