Kendra Betz, MSPT, ATP:
Physical Therapist and RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional

Kendra Betz is a Physical Therapist and RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) who has worked for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in the United States since 1993. Kendra’s areas of clinical specialization are Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) comprehensive rehabilitation, assistive technologies, and adaptive sports.

Kendra is currently the Prosthetics Clinical Coordinator for the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service, VA Central Office. In this role, she provides national clinical oversight for adaptive equipment, assistive technologies, and medical devices issued to American Veterans from all eras of military service. She holds an Adjunct Faculty position at the University of Pittsburgh, teaches regularly at national and international forums and has contributed to several published chapters and articles regarding SCI rehabilitation and assistive technologies.

Kendra prior served as Director of Training for a Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Education Foundation grant surrounding upper limb preservation in wheelchair users. In 2008, Kendra was inducted into the National (US) Spinal Cord Injury Association Hall of Fame recognizing her significant contributions in supporting Veterans and active duty service members with SCI.
